TRAVELLING TO THE PERUVIAN AMAZON 1 hour flight from Lima to Iquitos.      Iquitos is the largest city in the Peruvian Amazon and it’s known as the ‘capital of the Peruvian Amazon. ·       Iquitos was very hot and humid. GOING DEEP IN THE RAINFOREST TO THE AMAZON RIVER     We navigated our self through The Amazon River.   On our way to our Lodge where we stayed for 3 days.     It took us 1.30 mins navigating in The Amazon River. I really recommend a visit to the Acropolis ! The Acropolis is one of the most famous monuments in the world and a national symbol of Greece. The Acropolis is the name of the hill on which ancient Athens was founded. The most famous of all is the Parthenon Temple , dedicated to G oddess Athena – the patron goddess of Athens city.  There are two entrances to the Acropolis rock. From there you continue your way to the top from where you have a stunning view a s you continue upwards, you will see others temples too such as the Propylaea , the impressive marble main entrance gates , Erechteion , the Temple of Athena Nike , and the Sanctuary of Artemis .
