CHRISTMAS 2019 (MOSCOW - RUSSIA)

My trip to Moscow was one of the best trips I have ever had. I visited many places and I am just about to tell you all about them. All the interesting and wonderful places I went to were filled with Christmas lights decorations and will tell so much about beautiful Moscow.

MOSCOW BY NIGHT
My first impression of Moscow was at night and I was so excited to finally arrived and see the wonderful lights illuminating the entire city.

THE KREMLIN
First I will start with the Kremlin. The Kremlin translates to fortress inside a city in Russian. It is also the largest fortress in the whole of Europe. It was so big that even when I left the Kremlin I had only visited a small fraction of it which were the Kremlin towers, the gardens and churches. In the end I really loved visiting the Kremlin and I can’t wait to go there again to see the palaces. Fact: The Kremlin was actually white before one point in the 19th century.

BOLSHOI THEATRE
The Bolshoi Theatre is a world famous theatre and opera company in Moscow, which gives performances of ballet and opera. It's near the Kremlin in the centre of Moscow.

THE RED SQUARE
Now I will talk a bit about my visit to the Red Square located next to the Kremlin. First I will explain a bit about the history of the Red Square. The Red Square used to be a market and was a top spot for people to celebrate their achievements and have parties. For Christmas the government has tried to bring back old memories of Russia by inserting the market next to the Red Square. This was also a very famous place for high profile executions. I really was interested when the residents also told me that it separates the Kremlin and the official residence of the President of Russia.
The Red Square was also a really fun and interesting place to visit and I hope to come back again soon.

FUN RUSSIAN HATS

ALL THE BEST... VERY BEST FOR 2020!
